Pontypridd Town Council Fun Day – All You Need To Know

Pontypridd Residents will have plenty to enjoy this August Bank Holiday weekend with a fun-filled free family event planned by Pontypridd Town Council.


A variety of free activities and entertainment are lined up for Pontypridd Town Council’s Summer Fun Day which will take place in 
Ynysangharad War Memorial Park 11am – 5pm on Saturday, August 26th.

A funfair, arena acts, a music stage hosted by GTFM, sporting activities, pop-up puppet shows , face-painting, food stalls, market stalls and much more will be on offer, including a new environmental area and a land-train – a firm family-favourite.

Pontypridd Town Council’s popular vintage transport rally will also return, with an exhibition in the park and a parade through Pontypridd town centre.

11.15 – 11:45 Roly Poly Entertainment
12:15 – 12:45 Tenovus Choir
13:15 – 13.45 Martyn Geraint
13.45 – 14.30 GTFM
14:30 – 15:30 State of Fame Band
16:00 – 16:30 Cor Meibion Pontypridd

Puppet Shows

The pop up puppet shows will be hosted by Martyn Geraint, and will be on at 12.00pm and 3.30pm.

Morris Dancers
The Morris Dancers will be performing at 11:15am, 12:15pm and 14:15pm.

We’re delighted to welcome back the vintage transport exhibition, a hugely popular Summer fixture in Pontypridd; along with musical acts, sporting activities, a funfair and lots more. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in August.’
