Have your say on the local economy. Cynon Valley advisory group seeks new members.

Cynon Valley Community Vision are looking for new members to help advise Member of Parliament Beth Winter on the challenges facing Cynon Valley.

Following a period of consultation and information gathering, the advisory group, set up by Cynon Valley MP Beth Winter, has identified three priorities; Enterprise & Community Regeneration, The Environment and Tourism.

Cynon Valley MP Beth Winter said; “I formed the advisory group last summer to help me consider the impact of Covid-19 on our community and identify potential economic, social and environmental solutions.”

“I’m really keen to channel and amplify the voices of local people. Nobody understands the issues of the valley like those who live here. Yours are the voices, the ideas and the opinions that I want to hear.”

Chair of the group Morien Morgan added; “Since it was formed, the advisory group has been discussing some really interesting ideas and has undertaken a survey to gauge the priorities of people in the Cynon Valley.”

“Whatever your priority: The state of the high streets, opportunities for our young people or the potential for green infrastructure in Cynon, please get involved!”
