Throughout Today (24th November) there will be less capacity available than usual for a major event day (Wales v South Africa) with some train services running as a rail replacement bus service.
Most services will operate with reduced capacity with additional buses running alongside trains to improve capacity between…
- Taffs Well – Cardiff Central (Pontypridd Line)
- Caerphilly – Cardiff Central (Rhymney Line)
- Dinas Powys to Cardiff Central (Vale of Glamorgan Line)
Quote from the Transport for Wales Website
“We apologise for the current changes to timetabled services and the decreased capacity of our trains.
We are doing everything possible to improve this regrettable situation.
Due to continuing problems resulting from damage to wheels caused by seasonal conditions, more trains than usual are currently undergoing repair at Transport for Wales depots.
As a result, an amended timetable will be in operation until further notice”
