Stagecoach helps to connect families over the festive season

Stagecoach in South Wales bus services will continue running over the festive season to help people safely travel to spend time with their families and friends.

Stagecoach has been working with local authorities around the level of local bus services required for travel over Christmas. Passengers are advised to plan ahead as some routes may be busier than normal, particularly with reduced capacity on train services and engineering work impacting some rail routes. Christmas timetables are now available at stagecoachbus.com.

DECEMBER 2020

Thursday 24 Dec (Christmas Eve)

Thursday ‘school holiday’ bus times for all services with an early finish (approximately 20:00)

Friday 25 Dec (Christmas Day) and Saturday 26 Dec (Boxing Day)

There will be no bus service. Check Traveline Cymru for alternative journeys.

Sunday 27 Dec and Monday 28 Dec

Sunday bus times for Aberdare, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Merthyr, Rhondda, Torfaen

Service X43 Brecon – Abergavenny and Porth Services 124,131,404 will not operate

Service T4 is operating from Cardiff –Brecon only

Tuesday 29 Dec and Wednesday 30 Dec

Saturday bus times for all services with an early finish (approximately 20:00)

Friday 1 Jan (New Year’s Day)

Advice for customers

· Plan ahead wherever possible to try and avoid busy times and routes. You can use our busy bus feature to check your journey on the Stagecoach app

· Use contactless payment or exact fare to pay for your journey. Mobile tickets are available in advance on the Stagecoach app

· Come with a face covering to wear throughout your journey and bring your hand sanitiser

· If you feel unwell or have any Coronavirus symptoms, please do not use public transport
