Section 35 Dispersal Order Issued for Pontypridd Town Centre

South Wales Police last night issued Pontypridd Town Centre with a Section 35 Dispersal Order for 48 hours, due to an increase in Anti Social Behaviour calls. The Order will be in place until tomorrow night and means an officer can issue a person with a written order directing them to leave the area and arrest them if the don’t.  Issuing of the order was prompted by two females who also had their alcohol confiscated – and officers say they will work with Rhondda Cynon Taf Councils CCTV Control Room to clamp down on any further Anti-social behaviour.
