Pontypridd Town Council Summer Fun Day

Pontypridd is gearing up for a fun-filled Summer as Vintage Transport Rally and Fun Day Announced for August

Pontypridd Residents will have plenty to enjoy this August Bank Holiday weekend with a fun-filled family event planned by Pontypridd Town Council.

A variety of activities and entertainment are lined up for Pontypridd Town Council’s Summer Fun Day which will take place in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park on Saturday, August 27th.

A funfair, arena acts, a music stage, food stalls and much more will be on offer. The Town Council’s popular vintage transport rally will also return, with a parade of vintage vehicles though the town centre and an exhibition in the park.

Pontypridd Town Council Chief Executive and Town Clerk, Tony Graham said:

‘This year’s Summer Fun Day is going to be our biggest yet. After a difficult two years for Pontypridd we want to bring everyone together for a day to celebrate our community and most of all to have fun!

We’re delighted to welcome back the vintage transport rally, a hugely popular Summer fixture in Pontypridd; along with musical acts, sporting activities a funfair and lots more. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in August.’
