Plaid Cymru Leader Adam Price Visits Pontypridd

Friday 27th November, the Leader of Plaid Cymru Adam Price MS visited the Pontypridd constituency to hear directly from businesses, organisations, and residents about the challenges they have faced this year in light of both the floods and COVID-19. 

He was be joined by Heledd Fychan, Councillor for Pontypridd Town ward, and the Plaid Cymru candidate for Pontypridd in next year’s Senedd election.

On his tour around the Pontypridd constituency, Adam visited Treforrest Industrial Estate based brewery Bradgdy Twt, which was badly damaged by the floods back in February.

Adam Price MS and Heledd Fychan stopped off at the new Cortle Coffee shop in Pontypridd Town Centre, which is still under construction and were joined by Rhondda ward councillor Eleri Griffiths

Both Heledd Fychan and Adam Price met up with GTFM’s Gavin Powell to give their reaction to the independent flood enquiry and the First Minister Mark Drakefords announcement of Cinema’s, Bowling alleys and indoor Leisure activities are set to close in the latest measurements to the fight against Covid-19.
