New Pontypridd Citizens Advice Office Opening

Citizens Advice Rhondda Cynon Taff have today (Monday 25th September) opened its doors to a new office on Taff Street Pontypridd.

The office in Gelliwastad Road Pontypridd closed its doors in 2021, and since then Citizens Advice have been renovating a new office space on Taff Street, Pontypridd to make it ready for the community to access free impartial advice.

During this time, there have been outreaches covering the Pontypridd area as well as the office in Mountain Ash.

The address for the new office is: 54 to 55 Taff Street, Pontypridd CF37 4TD.

The new location has been designed to be open and inviting to the community, the location is fully wheelchair accessible to the public, staff and volunteer team, with a new lift installed.

Citizens Advice RCT have increased their opening times in the new Pontypridd office.

They are now

· 9:30am to 1:30pmpm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for people to access advice on the same day

· Tuesdays the office will be open for money clinic from 10am to 2pm.

Money Clinic is a new service Citizens Advice will be providing out of the new office, the service will offer specialist advice on debts, budgeting and energy issues.

The office Mountain Ash will remain open as usual; the team are pleased to say that extended opening times for the office will start in October.
