MS’s UKRAINE FUNDRAISING APPEAL CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT TONIGHT

Mick Antoniw MS, Member of Senedd for Pontypridd will close his Ukraine fundraising appeal at midnight tonight (1^st March)

Mick Antoniw launched the appeal to raise money for medical supplies for hospitals in Ukraine.  The initial target of £5000 was reached within the first day and the total currently stands at more than £33,000.

Mick Antoniw MS said:

“The generosity of the Welsh public has been absolutely phenomenal and very humbling.  I would like to say thank you to each and every person who made a contribution.

“I am closing the fundraising appeal in order to get the monies raised to frontline medics in Ukraine as quickly as possible, so would ask anyone who would like make a donation to do so by midnight tonight.

“The money raised will be used to purchase vital medical supplies and save lives.  Many people will be aware of my Ukrainian heritage and so it is personally very touching that the Welsh public have responded so magnificently to the appeal.”
