Following her incredible turn as a singing sausage on the hit show The Masked Singer, which garnered over 10 million viewers, making it the highest rated non news/sport broadcast of the year, focus now returns to Grammy and Brit award-winning British soul sensation Joss Stone’s first solo single in over three years, ’Walk With Me’,  out now. on S-Curve Records/BMG. The new single, first released in December, and impacting on April 2nd, was co-written and produced by long-time collaborator Jonathan Shorten.Returning to the label that helped launch her career(president Steve Greenberg together with Betty Wright and Michael Mangini, worked with Stone on the release of her monumental debut album ‘The Soul Sessions’), Stone’s stand-alone single addresses the importance of unity and walking together in times of difficulty. Stone’s distinctive vocal takes centre stage on the uplifting track, through searing arcs of intensity and virtuosic runs, while interplaying with the rich gospel voices of Legato Vocal Ensemble.

Joss Stone as the Singing Sausage on The Masked Singer

Stone states “This song started out as a romantic song asking someone to walk through life with you. When we got to working on it so much had happened with the pandemic, and the doctors and nurses who have given so much of their lives to helping others, as well as what happened with George Floyd, so I rewrote the song. Everyone needs to come together in order to survive this life in peace….Let’s walk together. Through it all.”

“It’s the funniest most hilarious job I’ve ever had. We need some joy more than ever right now, music can give that and this show gives it too. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and it’s about positivity and fun, which has ti be a good thing. I had such a laugh doing it and I’m glad people enjoyed it.”
