Lee Gardens Upgrade

Extensive work will begin on Monday 14th June at Lee Gardens Pool in Penrhiwceiber to upgrade facilities.

They include; full refurbishment of the pool, a disabled toilet facility ramped to the pool and play area. Plus, a building which will have a small tuck shop and meeting room with its own disabled toilet facility.

The project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, with thanks to the players of the National Lottery and Welsh Church Act. The building will be fitted with PV Solar System thanks to the Climate Action Boost Grant from the Lottery.

Trustee Diane Locke told GTFM they’ve been working closely with Renew Wales and Sustainable Communities Wales to make our building as environmentally sustainable as possible doing our bit for Climate Change.
