Flooding in Rhydfelin

A number of houses in Wordsworth Gardens in Rhydyfelin were affected by flash flooding last night and the council and other agencies are on the scene providing help, alongside elected members and neighbours.

Although details are still coming in It seems flood prevention measures installed over recent years worked as intended to save many other neighbouring properties from suffering the sale fate. Flooding incidents have also been reported from other parts of RCT including Pontypridd and Tonyrefail.
