Evening Bus Replacement Services for Treherbert, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil from August

Evening rail services to Treherbert, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil will be replaced by buses for nine months due to work on the South Wales Metro from Monday 3rd August between 8pm and 5am Sunday to Thursday’s through to May next year.
Early morning train services will not be affected and will run as usual.
In addition to this change on the weekend of August 1 and 2 there will be changes to services on those three lines.
On Saturday, August 1, bus services will replace train services all day between Aberdare and Radyr stations.
On Sunday, August 2, bus services will replace morning train services across the whole of the Valleys network extending all day for Aberdare – Cardiff services.
