Christmas Card Competition

We would like to invite entries from children up to the age of eleven who live or attend School/groups in the Pontypridd Town Council area.

The competition is to design a Christmas card (cover only) and entries will be accepted in any medium. The card should measure 15¼cm x 21cm (6” x 8”) (A5). Entries must have the full name, age/year group and school/group of the child on the back. Entries will either be displayed in the Museum or laminated and hung on the Christmas tree in Pontypridd Town Centre.

The competition will be judged in three age groups:

Reception, Years 1 & 2, Years 3 & 4, Years 5 & 6

The winners in each age group will receive a prize of £25.00 and have their card framed! Also, this year, the three winners will have their cards displayed on the big screen in Pontypridd Town Centre (on the EE building) on the run up to Christmas.

 The closing date for entries is Thursday 2nd December. The cards can be brought into Pontypridd Museum or send via email: info@pontypriddtowncouncil.gov.uk. Judging will take place on Friday 3rd December.
