FORMER Pontypridd and Wales rugby player Paul Knight has been honoured with a special event held at the Sardis Road clubhouse.
Former players including Martin Williams, Tom David, Bob Penberthy, Nigel Bezani and Adrian Owen were among those who came out in force to pay tribute to the Rhondda born former prop forward who has been battling Multiple Sclerosis for almost 20 years.
Paul, who also played for Aberavon and Treorchy was capped five times for Wales and also played for the Barbarians.
Billed as “A Knight to Remember” event organiser Bob Harris said:
“The brilliant turn out just shows how much Paul is thought of by former players and the many friends he has made on and off the field.”
