19 Year old Man, dies in crash on A465 between Glynneath and Hirwaun

A 19-year-old man has died in a crash on the A465 between Glynneath and Hirwaun. South Wales Police closed the road for six hours to carry out investigation work.

According to South Wales Police, the accident involved a white Ford Fiesta, on the northbound carriageway at around 4.50pm on Monday, January 11 with the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The family are currently being supported by specially trained officers.

Police have thanked the public for their patience during the road closure, but would like to speak with anyone who hasn’t already spoken with police that may have witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle before the collision.
