The A470 was closed for a time during Saturday (28th April) after a lorry overturned along the stretch southbound towards Abercynon. Tweets from South Wales Police show the extent of the recovery work that had to be undertaken. There were issues north of the M4 (Junction 35) in the Pencoed area along the A473 during rush hour on Thursday (29th March). As reported by South Wales Police on Twitter, a lorry had overturned shedding its load. Clean up operation took a few hours and the road has fully reopened.
