Christmas Public Transport Changes

There’s a few changes to public transport services that serve our area over the Christmas Period.

We know that Christmas can be a stressful time for travelling, so we’ve done our best to summarise the changes to help you along your way!

Some of the platforms at London Paddington will be unavailable, affecting a small number of trains to and from the capital

There will be no trains to or from London Paddington

There will be no trains to or from London Paddington

Thursday 28th December – Sunday 31st December

There will only be two of the four lines available on the approach to London Paddington, so a reduced service will operate to and from London.

Monday 1st January 2018

A Bank Holiday service will operate on most routes – trains will start running at around 08:00

Tuesday 2nd January 2018

GWR new timetable launches, with new fleets of trains in operation on many routes
