Russell Kane, one of the UK’s most popular comedians, is back with a brand-new tour, and he is heading to Rhondda Cynon Taf!

His 2020 tour has already been extended due to the overwhelming response for tickets around the country, and the Council is delighted to welcome him to the Park & Dare Theatre, Treorchy, on Saturday, March 14 (8pm)

Councillor Rhys Lewis, Cabinet Member for Communities, Culture and the Welsh Language, said: “Russel Kane has an army of fans all over the world so to have him come to entertain us here in Rhondda Cynon Taf is great news.

Our theatres continue to bring headline acts and a varied programme of shows to our stages, as well as the many amateur productions, as we continue to promote the arts scene in Wales.

Russell Kane, a multi-award winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter, is best known for his television appearances on BBC Three’s Stupid Man, Smart Phone and as the host of three series of BBC Three‘s Live At The Electric.

He has also published his first novel The Humorist and has written, directed and starred in three plays, two of which have toured the UK and one which was performed in the main house at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
