Local Radio Day – 25th May 2018

“Local Radio can help local businesses prosper and thrive, making a real impact on the economy of the areas where it still exists and it can provide skills and training to local people”

Friday 25th May 2018 is “Local Radio Day” – showcasing all that’s great about local radio.

We’ve been broadcasting full-time to YOU, the residents, businesses and even visitors of Rhondda Cynon Taf since 2002 and we love it!

Did you know, we’re now 16 years old 🎂We launched full time in 2002 as the first community radio station in Wales. Today is ‘Local Radio Day’ and we’d love you to do something so simple to help us celebrate … by sharing our little video and spread the word of GTFM and a small snapshot of what we do 24/7!

Posted by GTFM on Thursday, 24 May 2018

We love the interaction, the texts, emails, tweets and phone calls saying how much you’ve enjoyed listening to a programme or a segment or an interview.

We provide the platform. It’s you the local people that make it!

So. Thank YOU!
