Move over Jamie Oliver and Heston Blumenthal, Our Howard wants your job!
He has been cooking up storm with the Public Health Wales “Get Cooking” course at the Hapi hub on a Wednesday morning.
So far Howard has cooked Salmon fishcakes, chicken jambalaya, apple crumble and a mega pasta bake. All recipes are taken from the Public Health Wales recipe book so they are guaranteed to be tasty, healthy and nutritious.
His meals have even been trialed out on some of the staff at GTFM, who have approved his “new career path”.
The Hapi project is a lottery funded project hosted by Newydd Housing Association. The main aims of the project are to improve the health and wellbeing of residents living in and around the Pontypridd area.
“Hapi” runs sessions on:
– Healthy eating and cooking
– Emotional wellbeing and confidence building classes.
If you are living locally and would like to get involved like Howard or would like to become a “Hapi Champion” get in touch with either Lisa, Hannah or Jackie on the Hapi Hotline 07899665807
