On Saturday evening, fire crews battled a grass fire on Penrhys Mountain.
The incident is now over however, South Wales Fire and Rescue have said they were called to 36 grass fires over a 24-hour period last weekend, and believed most were started deliberately.
Crews also had to withdraw from a mountain grass fire on the Bwlch because high winds made it too dangerous.
Two other separate incidents have since occurred near Tylorstown during the early hours of Monday.
