On Saturday 10th February Wattstown RFC are holding a memorial day for Jenson Evans, an 8 year old boy who died when his family’s car crashed into a tree.
As a mark of respect the local community have all come together to organise a fundrising day and a memorial rugby match between Wattstown XV and the Rhondda Select as well as a battle of as bowl with the Wattstown Senior Finalists 2013 along with special guests
There will also be a family fun day including live music, auctions and of course a screening of the Wales 6 Nations match against England, which kicks off at 5pm and of course GTFM will be showing support by providing a Roadshow.
All the proceeds from the event will be going to the family to help them through this horrific ordeal.
The event will kick off at 12noon!
