More than 500 people visited the Council’s popular outdoor swimming attraction on Boxing Day last year to enjoy an open-air swim in the heated pools.
This will be the final opportunity of the year to swim at the Council’s family tourist attraction, which has welcomed more than 170,000 visitors since opening in August 2015.
Cllr Ann Crimmings, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, with responsibility for visitor attractions, said:
“Having had yet another amazing summer season, the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, is opening for a Boxing Day Swim.
“Bookings open on December 4 and places are no doubt going to be in great demand, so please book early to avoid any disappointment.
“Celebrate the festive season with a swim in the great outdoors. It is invigorating and great fun. There is no atmosphere quite like the Boxing Day Swim at the National Lido of Wales.”
