Well done! Over 400 walkers gathered in Treherbert despite the rain and gale force wind on Sat 16th June 2012 to take part in the
11 mile Rhondda Walk 'from Park to Pit' in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Gtfm's Roadshow provided entertainment, information, encouragement and thanks at the start and finish lines.

Our Roadshow made two appearances during the opening week of Pontypridd's new Sainsbury's store, which launched on
Wednesday 4th July 2012. (Wednesday 4th 8am-12 noon & Saturday 7th Noon -4pm)
Built on the old Brown Lenox factory
site it brought 241 new jobs to the town, 198 of which are occupied by local people.
Gtfm provided live commentary of the ribbon cutting ceremony by
local school children, in front of the Store Manager and Colleagues
- then Pontypridd Male Voice Choir serenaded the first shoppers...
Store
Manager Steve Bourne (right below) and HR Manager Melanie
Baldwin were interviewed live on-air by Gtfm's Chris
Mason.
The week before Sainsbury's, the Gtfm crew mounted a Roadshow in-store at the re-launch of the local
Makro at Nantgarw on Wed 27th June.
