Presenting - The GTFM Roadshow

"Wonderful evening, very helpful and organised team. Communication when organising the event was excellent,  and the support during the event was exactly what was needed. GTFM provided sound entertainment, would recommend to all

Helen Bowen, University of South Wales

“GTFM has become a central part of life in Pontypridd.  Every significant event such as “Ponty’s Big Run for Fun, Vintage Transport Day and the Christmas Lights switch-on is promoted and hosted by them.  As Mayor I have really enjoyed my time on the radio giving local people updates on events”

Councillor Jayne Brencher, Mayor of Pontypridd, 2015-6 .

GTFM's Promotions Manager Gavin Powell

Thanks to Community Economic Development funding support, GTFM has been able to expand its Roadshow and Promotional activity as well as advertise itself more prominently in the local community. Our Roadshow operation, originally established by Mark Andrews, is now run by GTFM's Promotions Manager Gavin Powell and equipped to stage events of all sizes for a very reasonable price. Special discounts are available for charities and not-for-profit organisations too.

So, if your business, organisation or company is hosting a promotional event, or looking for live entertainment for your special occasion, Gtfm can help. We can provide a professional, cost effective way of helping to promote your business, charity or event. Click here to see our promotional leaflet

Our Roadshow made two appearances during the opening week of Pontypridd's new Sainsbury's store, which launched on

Wednesday 4th July 2012. (Wednesday 4th 8am-12 noon & Saturday 7th Noon -4pm)

Built on the old Brown Lenox factory site it brought 241 new jobs to the town, 198 of which are occupied by local people.

GTFM provided live commentary of the ribbon cutting ceremony by local school children, in front of the Store Manager and Colleagues

- then Pontypridd Male Voice Choir serenaded the first shoppers...

Store Manager Steve Bourne (right  below) and HR Manager Melanie Baldwin were interviewed live on-air by GTFM's Chris Mason.

The week before Sainsbury's, the GTFM crew mounted a Roadshow in-store at the re-launch of the local Makro at Nantgarw on Wed 27th June.
